SKABB Stats Seasons 1-10

This is an update on all time SKABB League stats! To read previous iterations, there is one for Season 9 and Season 8

Games Played

Across 10 seasons, a total of 900 games have been played. We should pass the 1,000 mark during season 11!

A total of 2,491 touchdowns have been scored (an average of 2.77 per game) and 3,178 casualties caused (an average of 3.53 per game).

Stewart has played the most games at 113 and Oli managed to break the 100-mark this season (just). Tommy has made the top 10 for the first time with Pete Gridley just dropping out. Alex and David Macey both sit on 52 games, with James on 47 and Stuart Miller on 44. It's likely that one of more of these will make the top 10 after season 11 at the expense of Dan and Steve.

16 coaches have now played 5 or more seasons. This is up from 12 last season - with Wes, David Macey, Gordon Hebdon (just) and Stuart Miller all playing their 5th season in the league.

Touchdowns

The most touchdowns in a game remains at 7. This has been achieved 5 times in total, including once this season.

Season 1: Oli's Skaven v Kias's humans (5-2)
Season 1: Pete G's slann v Kias's humans (4-3)
Season 2: Stew's elf union v Paul Brook's skaven (4-3)
Season 9: David Macey's skaven v Oli's slann (4-3)
Season 10: Tim's elf union v Ross's goblins (5-2)

The most number of touchdowns by 1 team remains at 5 which has happened a total of 22 times. It happened 5 times in Season 10 (Tim v Ross, Matt v Oli, Stew v Luke S, Pete A v Gordon and David Macey v commissioners).

Those who have achieved it are
6 - Oli
2 - Stew A, Marc, Matt M, Dan, Pete A
1 - Tim, Matt A, Iain, Ron, David M, Wes

The all time most touchdowns are below. Oli has jumped into the lead here with 179 but Stew A has made a lot of ground after playing vampires for a season and is just 5 behind him. Alex gets in to the top 10 at the expense of Pete Gridley. Dan joined the 100 club during the season, with Iain and Craig looking to join him this season.

In his first season, Elliott made his mark on the best touchdown average with an amazing 1.9 touchdowns per game. Oli drops down from 2nd to 6th after a low scoring season, and Owen takes a spot in the top 10 after his first season.

This season there was an average of 2.82 touchdowns per game which puts it 4th overall across the 10 seasons. Season 1 had an amazing 3.20 touchdowns per game average which we may struggle to surpass! It is however up season on season from 2.76 in Season 9.

Casualties

The most number of casualties in a game is 11 which has happened twice and amazingly in the same match up.

In season 9 Pete Gridley's dark elves continued where his chaos dwarf left off in Season 8 against Craig's snotling team. This season the elves recorded 8 casualties and suffered three, compared to 7 caused by his chaos dwarves the previous season when the snotlings got 4 in reply.

The most casualties by 1 team in a game is 8 which has happened 4 times. Pete G's dark elves v Craigs snotlings, Gordon's nercomantic against Craig's snotlings, Marc's dark elves against Stew A's halflings and Stew A's khorne against Oli's wood elves.

The all time most casualty leaders are:

Stew becomes the first to hit 200 casualties, with Oli only 3 away from doing so. It is possible that Matt playing necromantic might also manage to make the landmark this season.

James and Alex enter the top ten, pushing out Archie and Matt Moate.

The best average casualties table is below.

Ashley wasn't able to maintain his 3.00 average from last season but is still in an impressive 3rd place. There are no new entries into the top 10, but Iain has jumped from 10th to 4th after a bashy season with his chaos dwarfs.

Race choices

Orcs remain the most popular race, with 13 coaches having played them. Skaven jump up to second place ahead of dark elves. Chaos Chosen are perhaps surprisingly high, joint 4th with goblins and humans.

Some teams have played multiple seasons, as you can see by the difference to the most number of games played, with goblins a clear third in this list, chaos chosen dropping down and lizards, necromantic and vampires all making it into the top 10.

14 coaches have played 4 or more races (up from 10 coaches last season).

Win percentages

The top 10 win percentages (using NAF style were a draw is half a win) are below, along with games played for context. Note: must have played 10+ games to qualify.

After a season playing gnomes, Damian drops down from the top spot. Despite his win percentage not changing at all season on season, Alex drops down slightly as newcomer Elliott and Jake both jump above him. Oli's poor season with khorne sees him drop out of the top 10.

The 10 best performing races are below.

With a good season from Elliott, necromantic horror retain their top spot. Lizards and amazons drop out of the top 10 as it was a poor season in Lustria, with their places taken by Divisional winning slann and dark elves.

The below table shows the best performing coach with each race (a minimum of 5 games needed)

Jake becomes the best Chaos Dwarf coach, taking the honour from Luke Sykes. Gnomes are a new race with Luke S recording the best record with them.  Pete A is the best performing skaven coach, removing the title from Marc, and Dimmy becomes best slann coach, taking that from Pete G. Having gained best skaven coach, Pete A loses best vampire coach to Stew A, who in turn loses best wood elf coach to Alex.

Awards

Here are all of the awards given out by player.

And here they are by race.

The Championship has been won by 8 different races - necromantic horror 3 times, and dark elf, chaos dwarf, ogres, shambling undead, skaven, norse and black orc once each.

8 different coaches have won the championship, with Marc having won it three times. Chris Wills is the only coach to have won both, although not in the same season.

The cup has been won twice by 2 coaches - Marc and Damo. The glass has been won twice by Stew A.

Marc is the only coach to have done the double of winning the Championship and the Cup in the same season.

This was the first time Craig didn't appear in the glass final having qualified for the playoffs.
